Work Study & Volunteer Opportunities

We are excited to hear from those interested in joining our lab for work study or volunteer research assistant (RA) opportunities! The RA position would involve a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, helping with recruiting and scheduling families to partner with us on research projects; conducting, transcribing, and coding interviews and focus groups; manuscript preparation; IRB submissions; setting up surveys and study materials; and administering participant compensation. Scholars who have an interest in research with Black families with young children are especially encouraged to apply. 

Volunteer Opportunities

Would require approximately 10 hours/week. Scholars able to commit to collaborating with the BLESSED Research Group for 2 or more years are preferred. Undergraduate RAs will have the option to receive course or GUROP credit for their contributions and will be encouraged to pursue internal and extramural funding opportunities to support independent projects related to the work.
