BIO

Lindsey Sankin, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She provides individual and group therapy for adults in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). Within the Psychiatry Residency program, she teaches didactic material on CBT and DBT, and she provides the CBT supervision for PGY3s and PGY4s. Prior to joining MGUH, Dr. Sankin was on the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she supervised Psychiatry Fellows, Postdoctoral Fellows in Clinical Psychology, and Psychology Externs. She did her postdoctoral fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Westchester Division and her internship at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
