Joniesha Hickson, M.A., LPA.

Ida Bell and John T. Gaston’s granddaughter. Nancy’s daughter. Jasmine and Nicholas’ baby sister. Joniesha Hickson is a Masters level clinician and a DC licensed Psychology Associate who is currently a Clinical Psy.D Candidate in Washington, D.C. She is the current ABPsi Student Circle Communications Chair and has led various workshops training mental health workers in racial trauma and its mental health outcomes in the Black community. She is the CEO and founding member of a DC registered 501©3 non-profit organization, rooted in the pedagogy and praxis of the Black Panther Party, called Dear Black Prophets, Co. Joniesha resides in Washington, DC but is a native of Jersey City, NJ.
